One of our absolute favorite spots to go camping! You’ll feel like you’re in the wilderness even though you’re just a 10-minute drive up the road from town, and many campsites have direct access to Kern River.
The Sequoia National Forest is only a 3 hour drive from our home in Los Angeles and hosts the Wild & Scenic Kern River, making it a perfect summer weekend getaway, especially for camping with friends!
A small-town brewery that packs a big punch with a variety of IPAs and patio seating with mountain views. It’s the perfect place to stop for lunch on your way to the many campgrounds just up the road.
