A small-operations brewery serving German-inspired beers in a huge warehouse space with yard games and lots of natural light. This is a great spot to hang with a group of friends on the weekend and is in the middle of the RiNo District of downtown, which means it’s a great stop for a local pub crawl too!
Denver is the center of life in Colorado, which is one of our favorite states outside of our home in California!
It's a city full of art, nature-lovers, and good beer!
Enjoy 3,908 acres of wilderness with hiking trails for all fitness levels, just a 1-hour drive outside downtown Denver. We took an easy 2.3-mile loop to a fishing pond, and we saw more wildlife than other people along the way! It’s a lovely place to see autumn colors too if you time it right.
Sample 60 draft beers from all over the world, including a ton of small local breweries, in the trendy arts district of downtown Denver.
The most scenic train route in the United States goes straight through Colorado on its way between Chicago and San Francisco, stopping in Denver and many other small towns and big cities along the way. Denver is the perfect half-way point to break up this long route, or you can use the train for a short overnight trip to other Colorado destinations like Glenwood Springs, traveling through some Rocky Mountain canyons that are only accessible via train or river. This is a BUCKET LIST ITEM, for sure!
